Mother Theresa School, Kharsang
Mother Theresa School Kharsang is a private Christian (Catholic) minority institution established in the year 2008, recognised by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh up to the upper primary level in 2018.
The school is administered by the Newman Educational Society, Newton — a registered society (Society Registration No. SR/ITA/1199).
The land on which the school stands was donated by Sri Dimlat Changmi and Sri Shongkam Changmi to Bishop George Palliparambil, the Bishop of Miao Diocese, in 2008 — with the purpose of establishing an institution that would help develop the living standard of the ordinary people in its surrounding area.
Inspired by the selfless life of Mother Teresa, our motto "Let Your Light Shine" reflects our belief that every child has a unique gift — our role is to help them discover it, develop it, and share it with the world.
